Principal's Message

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

 

Welcome to another amazing school year at Northridge Middle School! 🏫

 

After a fulfilling first year at Northridge, I'm reenergized and excited to continue leading our school toward even greater success.

 

Last year, our writing initiative was a huge success, fostering writing skills across all subjects. We saw remarkable progress in our ELA SBA scores, with students' distance from standard decreasing by 24-29 points! Our math scores showed similar impressive gains, with a 20-29 point improvement.

 

This year, we're hitting the ground running! We'll continue with our successful writing PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycle and place a strong focus on math achievement.

 

I'm thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Esports Program Lab! It's equipped with Nintendo consoles, high-performance gaming computers, and even arcade games. Our goal is to build a comprehensive esports pathway for students from 6th to 8th grade. Please stop by once the new school year begins to tour our fantastic new gaming lab! 🎮

 

Parents and guardians, your partnership is vital to our students' success. We truly value open communication and collaboration to support your child’s academic journey.
